This roles will suit
Future Anything unleashes passion, potential and agency in every classroom. We believe every young person deserves to leave school with the passion, potential and agency to thrive; actively participating in their community and forging their future with purpose.
Future Anything works alongside educators, schools, education systems and industry to advocate for, and embed, capability-rich learning, through:
- Our fladship innovation program, The Future Anything Challenge
- Research-backed, inspiring and practical Teacher Professional Development
- Engaging Student Innovation Workshops
- Impactful community-based projects and long-term strategic partnerships
As a Senior Partnership Manager, you play a critical role in leading the delivery, quality and growth of Future Anything’s award-winning suite of educational programs. You’ll operate as a senior practitioner within our education team — modelling excellence, supporting others to succeed, and ensuring our programs consistently deliver deep impact across a growing network of partners.
The role carries an increased focus on leading complex partnerships, driving retention and growth, coaching others, and contributing to strategic projects and system improvement.
This role is perfect for you if:
- You like a puzzle. The principal wants one thing, the head of department another, and the teacher just wants to know this isn't going to add more work— and you find the version where everyone wins
- You want to grow a movement. You want to see more young people, more teachers and more schools finding joy in learning. And, you're not afraid to talk budgets to make it happen.
- You're energised by variety. The thought of being in the office one day, and on a plane to Cairns the next sounds like fun.
- You like people. You like meeting new people. You like working in teams. And, you love the bit where it clicks for someone else — watching a colleague try the thing you suggested and seeing it work.
- You make things better than you found them. You take notice of what's not working, and you build systems, processes and projects that fix them.
You're aspirational, and are looking to work in an organisation that provides the support and the opportunity to grow and progress.
Ultimately, you love education and you're looking for a meaningful and impactful way to make a difference for schools, teachers and young people throughout Australia, and beyond.
How to apply
Applications should be emailed to hello@futureanything.com. Applications must be received by 11pm AEST on Sunday 1st November at the latest.
To be considered, your application must include:
- Cover letter (max 2 pages) that includes evidence of your ability to match the Essential Key Selection Criteria as listed in the Position Description PDF. Please address each of the five Essential criteria in your cover letter, in no more than 200 words each. Draw on examples from the last three years where you can, try to step through, chronologically, what you did - and the evidence you used to help inform decisions. Feel free to use dot points, and you can include graphs or visuals where applicable.
- CV (max 2 pages) including details of two work-related referees. It's helpful if you dot point key responsibilities under each role you've had to help us understand your experience.
- A short video (no more than 2 minutes) telling us how you've led change in a school context (this can be your classroom!). Tell us about the problem you noticed (and how you knew it was a problem), the solution (and how you tested it to make sure it worked), and how you brought others along in the journey. Filming on your phone or laptop is fine — we are looking for content, not polish.
IMPORTANT: Your cover letter and CV should be saved together as one single PDF clearly marked with your name.
Please note that applications that do not meet the above criteria will not be considered. And, whilst we love leveraging AI, please avoid relying on AI to draft your responses — we can tell.
Additional Information
Why work with Future Anything?
- We’re educators first. We believe that you can't change education if you haven't been in education. Future Anything is founded, delivered and led by experienced educators. As such, we know schools and we know curriculum and we're committed to making education a little better every day by working alongside teachers, schools and systems.
- We’re here for schools. Our programs are not plug and play, ‘one size fits all’. We know every school is different and work closely with school leadership teams to ensure our programs reflect the unique needs of staff, students and broader school community. As a People and Planet First verified social enterprise, we support some of our most disadvantaged schools to access co-funding to run our programs through our Xccelerate Fund.
- We’re here for our team. Six weeks of annual leave a year, with three of these weeks taken at Christmas when the office closes. An annual learning budget of $1,000. Quarterly Basecamp, where the entire team comes offline for connection, capability building and clarity. Days in schools count as office days, which means around two days a week working from home. And no marking, reporting or bell times — say goodbye to those old friends. And, with a nine-day compressed fortnight, you'll enjoy a long weekend every second week.
Future Anything is an equal opportunity employer. We are strongly committed to achieving a diverse workforce and welcome applicants from a diverse range of backgrounds.
