Showcase Video Submission Form
Due: Friday 30th October, 12pm AEST
Filming requirements
Orientation: Landscape (horizontal) only. Portraitvideos won't fit the screen and will be rejected.
Length: 30 seconds max. Aim for 25–28 seconds sonothing gets cut off. Any footage past 30 seconds will be cut.
Device: A phone is totally fine - most modernphones film in high enough quality. Just make sure you're filming landscape andholding it steady (prop it up or ask someone to hold it rather than filminghandheld).
Lighting: Film facing a window or light source -don't stand with a bright light or window behind you, or you'll end up as asilhouette.
Audio: Find a quiet spot. Background noise (wind,traffic, other people talking) will drown you out. Speak clearly and hold thephone close enough to pick up your voice well.
Background: Keep it tidy and not toobusy/distracting - a plain wall or your logo works well.
File format: Please upload the file as an MP4. or MOV. Most phones do this automatically.
A few things to avoid
No copyrighted music playing in the background(royalty-free music only, or no music at all).
Keep language and content school-appropriate - this willbe shown to the whole audience, including families and younger students.
Don't just film a slideshow or read off a screen - talk tocamera like you're pitching to a person, not presenting slides.
One video per team, please - no multiple takes submitted.
