Dan Dempsey

Dan Dempsey is an experienced educator, school leader, coach and facilitator who specialises in helping schools turn educational vision into meaningful and sustainable practice.

Drawing on more than 20 years of experience across Australia and the United Kingdom, including a range of Principal and Deputy Principal roles, Dan has worked extensively with schools, leadership teams and systems to lead improvement, build capability and embed lasting change. His expertise spans curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, leadership development and school improvement.

Dan is at his best when working alongside educators to create engaging, relevant and future-focused learning experiences for young people. Throughout his career, he has led and supported the implementation of innovative approaches including project-based learning, inquiry learning, STEM education and design thinking, helping schools bridge the gap between strategy and classroom practice.

As a highly experienced and accredited coach, Dan has worked with teachers, middle leaders and executive teams to strengthen leadership capability, professional practice and organisational effectiveness. He is particularly passionate about supporting middle leaders, recognising their critical role in translating vision into action and driving meaningful change across schools.

At Future Anything, Dan partners with schools and systems to design and deliver professional learning, coaching and strategic support that empowers educators to build cultures of innovation, engagement and continuous improvement.
